Growing up in a Spanish family, food has always been much more than fuel for Gloria. It is tradition, it is art, it is love, it is community, it is common ground, and it is long term health. Gloria is driven to know where her food comes from and take an active role in sourcing the ingredients used in her cooking. This fuels her diverse pursuits – from hunting, fishing, foraging and gardening. Gloria’s passion for food intertwines with her identity as a photographer and videographer, allowing her to capture the profound relationship between people and the land they cultivate.
Gloria moved to Montana primarily for its abundant access to public lands and opportunity to source wild foods. She is incredibly excited to serve as the Events and Marketing Coordinator for Community Food and Agriculture Coalition. She aims to leverage her skills to foster community engagement and facilitate dialogue between farmers and the public, ensuring Montanans have access to farming land and nutritious foods for generations to come.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Gloria is a proud dog mom to two pups, Alberto and Shakira. Together they get up to all sorts of (mis)adventures, whether it be upland hunting, fly fishing, trail running, mushroom foraging or backcountry skiing.
