Farmer Training

CFAC offers workshops to help farmers and ranchers start and grow successful farm businesses. Our programs combine technical experts and experienced local farmers to provide business and farm management instruction rooted in real-world experience. Every training includes hands-on activities focused on the skills you need to succeed in your farm or ranch business.

CFAC workshops specialize in techniques and topics for small-scale, diversified, niche marketing farms and ranches. We develop workshops in Western Montana, and collaborate with trainers across the state. From our winter business planning series, Planning For On-Farm Success, to summer On-Farm Field Days, CFAC is working year-round to help you grow your farm.

Check out the events page to see the workshops that are coming soon or check out our list of past events.

If you haven’t already, register here for the Farm Link Montana monthly newsletter. Receive news about upcoming trainings and new resources direct to your inbox.

You can read about our past workshops and events here.

Don’t see the kind of training you’re looking for? We can help you find it through the Montana BFR Trainer Network, or maybe we’ll plan that one next!

Many more resources are available on CFAC’s FarmLinkMontana website.
